It's a significant amount of exhaust coming out. Could be tired rings. Is there an easy way to check to determine if the issue is from rings or gaskets?

I haven't been in the engine yet. I'm told by the previous owner that the owner before him drag raced the bike so who knows. That owner also put ape hanger handlebars on and chromed everything he could if that tells you anything.

There seems to be exhaust leaking from the engine case behind the front sprocket. I haven't had the engine running with the case off to see where it's coming from. Is this a common issue?

Where did you find this part for sale? I'm having trouble finding one

I just discovered that my kick start knuckle is split and spread so that it won't turn the shaft. Does anyone have one available or know where I can find one. I don't see one for sale on ebay without buying the case.

It really does look like it needs a new rectifier. I have been looking to see which is the best to get but have not found it
