Clutch Cable Routing

1967 CA77: Currently my clutch cable is routed outside the frame and outside the gas tank as seen in pic. It works fine, but I see pics with the routing coming from underneath the tank where it is neatly hidden away. Anyone know the correct routing? Does it go into the frame from the headlight area,...

Makes sense as to why there were deleted. I can see folks back in the day pumping those full of grease and getting on the brakes. FYI, I do not have a fitting on the rear axle anywhere. That does not make sense to me, but I'm sure there was a reason. Why have one on the front axle but not on the rea...

Hmm. I see the photos but I do not have fittings on the front or rear brake arms as shown in the photo. Nor do I have a back axle fitting. I do have a front axle fitting on the left side. I will look under the tank for the other two when I pull the tank off again. Thanks.

Location of grease fittings

1967 CA77, I found 5 grease fittings: two on the front suspension arm (one on each side); one on the kick starter, one on the clutch, and one on the front brake panel near the axle. Am I missing any that may be hidden away? Thanks.

LM, just to be clear for me and for others: You put the chain on the spinner first, insert shaft in it's hole, THEN lift chain up onto the crank sprocket? Thanks!
