Kick starter
Thanks for info G-man, when I turn the engine by hand, I can hear the paw clicking, does this mean I have the kick starter set up incorrectly. Should the pawl be against the stop when the kick-starter is rested?, is there a set up procedure?

CB72 Kick starter
Just fitted the kick starter mechanism to the engine during a rebuild of a CB72. am I correct in thinking the little ratchet device will be clicking away whenever the engine is running? can this be heard clicking once the engine is running? It seams like a very over engineered and complicated system...

Hi Have had the cylinders rebored on my CB 72, for 0.5mm oversize Pistons. The Pistons feel tight in the bore, they move by hand but feel a little tight, the workshop manual states cylinder to piston clearance of 0.1mm (0.0039 in). Is this normal on fresh bore. Hi
Have had the cylinders rebored on my CB 72, for 0.5mm oversize Pistons.
The Pistons feel tight in the bore, they move by hand but feel a little tight, the workshop manual states cylinder to piston clearance of 0.1mm (0.0039 in). Is this normal on fresh bore.
