I think you're right. Thought it looked familiar. Since the Scrambler runs fine, it couldn't be from there.

I did replace the rectifier with one sourced from Radio Shack. It seems to be working fine. What problems I'm having seems to be coming from the dimmer switch on the left handlebar. Welp, Diane. I gotta thank you for solving part of my problem (Whatever it is). The o ring on the air screw made considerable difference in how my CL77 runs.
