Given this bike is no show bike I decideced to us hub/wheel i have till i determine if running well enuf to invest in new wheel.. did take round block today.. kinda weird ... think jets in carb match the ones listed but seems to be running very rich ... will only idle (sort of) with air screws total...

Rotating kick start lever
Not sure whats going on here but got my cb77 started and running but the kick start lever swings forward down below the foot peg ever time i start it.. I can manually pull back up but swings back down when i let go. Any help greatly appreciated. Kurt

Newbee here.. have searched quite a while on previous posts but getting more confused. Have a 65 CB77 that is running but not sure what correct float height is .. manual i have says 26.5 but looks like that may be for a CB72 .. and what are correct jet sizes (standard) for CB77 carbs ? thanks for an...

WOW jleewebb... thanks for the very complete and comprehensive response... I did much of what you suggested prob in different order.. but think i found problem... ignition switch. when I would hold in one position ..short.. wiggle a little and no short.. now the bad problem.. in my efforts i think t...
