This site was instrumental in resurrecting my 66 CL back in 2012, I've seen it come and go, but I still check on it now and then.

Did you take the petcocks apart and lubricate the parts? I use a dab of good old vasoline.

The only difference I could see was the seat mount changed around 64-65.

Been a while
Haven't posted in a while! Got side tracked by a herd of 2 strokes! (sorry) . Broke out the old scrambler today, futzed with the carbs a little, voila! ran like a champ. Had a great ride. When well sorted these things are a HOOT.................................D

Check for a bodged locating pin, there shouldn't be a gasket there..................D
