Free Clutch Parts
Called LM and as with many before me he solved my clutch problem with advice and parts recommendations. I still have the old clutch parts shown in the original post. I hate to just throw these parts away but I'm not a pack rat so I don't want to just keep them around. I'd be willing to send to anyon...

'62 CB72 Clutch Slipping
This is a '62 CB72 I bought a little over year ago at a good price as it was partially restored but the owner had acquired other bikes that he wanted to concentrate on. After LOUD MOUSE helped me get the carburetors sorted out, I replaced the ugly (metallic burgundy!) paint job with stock colors and...

Tachometer Cable Oil Seal?
I'm trying to find out if and where I can get a new oil seal for the tachometer drive cable for my recently purchased CB72 Hawk. I have an EBay receipt for a new “Genuine Honda” cable that the previous owner installed and I understand that it should have come with a new seal but as the photo shows t...

Operator Error - Carb Confusion
Follow Up Posting this so that those who see this in the future will know how things turned out and to thank Loud Mouse and G-Man for their help. First of all they were right! CL72 carbs work fine on a CB72; just need to change to the proper jets. After troubleshooting over the phone with LM, I did ...

WOW! What a quick response!
Started working the problem over the phone with LOUD MOUSE this afternoon. G-man, LM confirms what you said. Should be able to fix with jets and settings. First we went over the things that I had already checked (float level, cable adjustments, etc.). Then he had me properly adjust the idle air scre...
