Fair enough Tim but add the turn signals, not to be had in the U.S at that time. Anyway, that all doesn't matter so much, it's the tank that's got me stumped. I mean, only have a 3/4 tank, at best, available seems a little weird to me. I thought perhaps an import/export thing? Anyone?

All, Just started work on a 1967 305 Dream vin # C781007135. I believe this to be a Canadian model. It has a KM speedo and turn signals Removed the tank and much to my surprise there are no outlets to fit a balancing hose. Just a (working) original fuel tap.The tank was, you guessed, it half full. you're right LM. When I go around the tank with a magnet It's clear that in the areas that would have been filled in there is noticeable less pull on the magnet than the other areas. hope I can salvage the fuel cock. Any tricks to undoing to bottom, pot metal part, without destroying it?
