Re: Bullet Connectors - Superhawk

I bought some connectors a couple of years ago. For very little (< $20 CDN) I got a nice plastic tray containing an assortment of 3.5mm & 4.0mm, male & female along with with some double and triple female connectors. It also came with a remarkably good crimping tool. You can also reuse the old male ...

Re: CB72 running 20v at battery with new parts

A couple of things come to mind. Is there any chance that the BSA rectifier is positive ground? Unfortunately I'm not quite sure what the effect would be but I suspect it would either burn out the rectifier or let some smoke out of the wires. Re: LOUD MOUSE

I hope he is well too. He has posted his phone number several times although I didn't find it with a quick search. Someone might like to try it.

That said, since this site came back up he hasn't been anywhere near as active and that may be all we're seeing.

Re: Slow/idle jets for CL77 at higher elevation

I was just looking at the Honda Common Maintenance Repair Service Manual (section 8) and see that they recommend adjusting the idle screw for high altitude and installing a smaller main jet. Keep in mind that the main jet will have little, if any, effect on the idle so it won't help your problem.

Re: Fuel Tank Knee Pads Installation

I bought and installed a pair for my CB77. I found them difficult to install because the modern rubber is not very stretchy. Rather than grab them with pliers (and probably damaging them), I heated them gently with a heat gun (a hair dryer would probably work well too) and was able to install them. ...
