OK, back on topic, "Motors". I've been researching a little and see 1 set of early engines cases on ebay with the breather tower that G mentioned. Yea...you can see on both the lock and the stem hardware that someone sprayed some paint in there and a few other places including the tank and frame. It's a shame...but at least that's the worst example of over-spray and the color does seem to match. I'm thinking maybe they did it to address paint ...

Based on the list in G's first post, it looks like a '61 frame, probably titled in '62. Wiring harness will probably say 1961.
