Hello everyone,

i'm searching for good Gear Forks for my CB72. at Cmsnl they are no longer available, and i need them to get my engine up and running again.

i got the originals on my cb72, sound great!

i can drive it to 110, still sputters a bit, so needs better adjustments.
still i have the 250cc, and not the 300cc, so i think 140 might be the max for my bike.

Whoa! Found the problem today! There were 2 different size main jets in the carbs. Switched them for 2 of the same size and it runs a lot better now! It runs over the 6000 rpm just fine, and I touched a 100 km/h today!
Carbs needs some better adjustments, but is should be going better from now on! :D

i have nothing on them, is that bad? or should i link them with a piece of tube?

ignition timing should be good. light turns on exactly on F and LF. also adjusted the Valves with the right feeler gace, so they should be good too. carb slides are adjusted so they open at the same time. Only thing i could think of is that the battery that is in it now is too weak to perform a good...

it doesnt run very well.. still needs some adjustments etc. it wont run past the 6000 rpm, and wont go faster than 80 km/u. Got a new condenser on it, and it runs a little better now. Might need some new breaker points. i also got a too weak battery in it, was the only one i had around. so that migh...
