Unfortunately no. When you do torque them, start in the middle and work way outboard, crossing your torque pattern. Torque value is 16lbs. I think loudmouse torques his to 20+ lbs. I also read that they should be re-torqued after the engine has been up to operating temperature. So the procedure is:...

I don't know if the knock pin you're looking for is stepped or not, I suspect not as the measurements you gave are 6x12. But you can find a knock pin for a KZ1000 that measures 6x14mm and cut it down with a dremel cutoff wheel. There are several for sale on ebay.

Yes, I think that is too much to pay, but I really don't know enough about it. Pictures would be nice. Steve, according to my Clymer, the rear axle diameter is 16.9-17.0mm (16.85 or less is OOS). The front axle diameter is 15.0mm (14.9 or less is OOS). I don't have one handy to measure, I hope this answers your question.
