Just wondering before re-installing these on CL77, 1966--should there be any sealant on the threads to insure a snug non-seepage issue? Attached is what I believe to be an accurate CL77 Wiring diagram. This is based on the CB77 wiring diagram that LM said to use when working on a CL77. For a 66 CL77 Scrambler. Looks like:
#53141-205-000 Is throttle grip pipe

#17915-283-000 is the upper throttle cable.

My original cable pretty much shredded near the grip connection, and the cable holder inside the grip is cracked. Any leads appreciated or where to find?? Thanks.

Can see how the Olfa would work....carefully....but I want to get off the original in one piece, so I shall try the other methods. Pic is my update from last fall. Later,
