float level
when placing the floats make sure the tang is just barely touching.. have the carb upside down on a work bench.. or something flat and level. the jet should jet barely be visible over the float.. this is the eyeball method.. works fine.. then be sure to follow the ed moore tuning and timing method.....

blam problem solved.. like new again.. started right up.. no gas overflow. the floats were just to low..

well i rebuilt the right carb and now when i turn on the fuel at the petcock, the fuel just dumps out and overflows.. i put somthing in wrong.. so today im back at square one. any input would be nice..

i recieved my new clutch cable about six weeks ago during the rebuild process. got the cards fixed and started riding. the damn clutch cable broke. broke right off right at the very end in the hand grip. the end connnection came apart. it sucked. im thinkig im going to have it machined back on slumh...

buffed alluminum looks better anyway. take oven cleaner cheap stuff..(has to have sodium hydroxide). takes the clearcoat off. soak that stuff for like 10 minutes or less watch and be aware look for flat gray to appear. take some scotch brite pads (the green ones) and scrub. it should come off but yo...
