I have both variations. Now as far as the front of the seat and where it attaches to frame its that piece welded? Or is there a part that bolts on to hold front portion of seat?

It does, however my frame is CL77 so I am more confused, I have seen some frames with a bulge at the front where the front of the seat mounts. My other frame (68) has a latch for seat, so I am wondering if I need to weld something on or if there is some part I am missing for the seat mount?

already pulled off cover, looking for suggestions, don't really want to split cases. Any ideas?

My kickstarter is stuck in the down position, will not return forward. How do I get it unstuck?

Does that mount near the gas tank? Do you have pics of the part? So the frame should be okay for this year? I have another frame (68) and it has a "latch" up front for the front of the seat to slide into.

Does the 1966 frame come with a welded seat mount for the front of the seat to fit into? I'm looking at this frame and there is not mount for seat, what's the deal?
