I do still have the original cover, but it is broken with the lower rear cracked off. The transmission locked up and must have created a backlash that broke the cover. Left Camshaft Removal retry
Thanks for the drawing. I was finally able to get the cam sprocket to release and removed all the parts. I adapted your method. (See photo)
