Could it be the starter clutch clanking?

Hola,
When I kick or estart there is a clanking noise internally on
the right side case sometimes.
Starter chain looks fine as does kicker, ideas?

Cylinders need to come off to split the cases to replace the bearing and roller?
Or can I get at them without doing that?
