for the broken idle screw, try a long skinney needle nose pliers or forceps thru the slide hole and see if you can back it out

you can get some from retro bikes. olypen.com (360) 452-9043 They are not stainless but work just fine.one set with allen wrench does both side covers.

Let me correct myself the idle adjst screw does go into the tapered slot

two (2) adjusting screws on carb. Forward one is air screw. Rearward is idle adjust, goes under the slide not into the slide
