Thank everyone, Not a lot of exhaust leak but some between where the headers meet the mufflers. I have brand new packing in there so I don't know how else I could get that to stop. How do your air filters look like ? clean ? or dirty ? They are clean and new How about ground ? is your battery ground...

Valves adjusted, carbs colortuned, wire cut back. 180 and 165 with 4% leak down in each, still right side popping. Ideas anyone?

Alright, it is definitely not an adjustment issue. I have tried every possible adjustment on those two screws and it backfires no matter what

OK, so is it right that screwing the slow/idle screw in makes a leaner mixture? And screwing it out makes the mixture richer? Because I'm thinking if it is popping that means I need a richer mixture. After I've eliminated the popping then should I make the idle 800 rpm's or am I keeping the rp,s at ...
