Got it. It's not required though, right? I am still curious about that. It seems like a pretty awesome little project. I have a master welder working with me now, so that portion is relatively simple. On one of the other photos, showing the 6-speed conversion, why is the clutch and oil filter on the...

That's actually exactly what I used. I had Mu, steel, Mu, and the VR sensor still had trouble sorting out the signals.

Yeah, after a couple solid years of dicking with it, I gave up. I tried making panels out of magnetic field smoothing panels, reinstalling all the electronics, starting over on ECU software, everything. I think with a proper micro/megasquirt, it would work, but not with EcoTrons. My fault, really, t...

So I MIGHT be working on a top secret project that is 100% unrelated to gasoline-powered motorcycles, but I have been making connections in the aluminum casting world. If someone could gather some [small] crowd funding for it, I'd love to invest some time in creating a new primary cover that accommo...

Just a fast road bike. I like little hotrodded bikes like 500cc CB77s. Would one put the CB450 head up on the 500cc barrels then, or would it matter? I don't really see the benefit of twin cam when there's still only 2 valves per cylinder. The EFI kit has been pushed on to another bike. Too many Chi...

So I sense some sarcasm, but after watching some videos of people running 500cc CB77s, I am curious what it takes. Same crank?

I wouldn't mind a bit more bark up top. I race cars for a living so a peaky cam is what I LIVE FOR! Contemplating doing something crazy like building up a 350cc cammed 5-speed engine for the Superhawk-- just for fun. Basically just live out all the crazy things Bob Guynes told me about in the years ...
