26mm carb float bowl question

Cleaning a set of carbs this morning and ran across something I've never seen before and doesn't make sense to me.... one of the overflow stems is closed at the top (see pic). It looks like it was made that way, is there any reason for this that any of you are aware of? Before I drill it out, have I...

I would jump on Ed's invitation if I were you..... But if you're still looking for other resources, I got a set of JIS dyno cover screws for my CL last year from Ohio Cycle (440) 647-2357. Terry at Western Hills Honda (513) 662-7759 has always been very helpful and they have a good selection of 305 ...

Thanks teazer. Very interesting stuff, there's a pile of CB750 carbs in a salvage yard nearby that I never paid too much attention to, might have to go see if I can get a set of K0s for cheap. If I decide to go that way, I'll PM you with some more questions about installation and jetting if you don'...

I'd fit a valve spring kit and a set of CB750 carbs. CB750 had the same diameter slides but they are taller, so it's the same size carb at small throttle openings and a bigger carb when you open it wide open(they are oval bores). ------------------------------------------------------------- Teazer -...

Read thru the "Race Bike Only" thread, particularly Jerry's comments on page 6 about lightening pistons, that's reciprocating weight which really adds up quick. You can remove the cam sprocket advancer weights and weld up the advancer to full advance removing a little rotating weight, that along wit...

Looking closer at your pic, I see the separate smoker box on the right side of the grill.
Next grill I buy is going to have one of those.
I bow to your mastery of the grilling/smoking art.
