Can you tell me what year it is and why my gas cap is in the middle of the tank. Havent seen one like it.

what year is my bike.
I think I have a 1961-63 honda dream 305. For some reason I can't find anybody that can tell me why mine is differnt from other dreams I see. My gas tank is bigger and the gas cap is in the middle of the tank. If you have any info that can help me please reply. Thanks.
