I have a grab rail but I think it came off a 1967. Is there a difference?

If anyone cares, the model on the back of the bike is Jan Smithers from WKRP in Cincinnati. I always thought she was better looking than the blonde.

Fuel Petcock feed tubes leaking
I have been having issues with the two metal feed tubes (rubber carb hoses connect here) coming loose in the petcock housing and leaking gas. Is there some type of gasket paste or ? to add to these tubes and then tap them back into place. I wonder why Honda would even design these to be separate pie...

I tried loosening the gas cap but it has no effect on the idle speed. Could this be a governor spring problem, after all, it is over 40 years old? Also, another problem has started.
