Alright so I went ahead and tried the oven trick. Heated the shift arm for about 25-30 minutes, then took it to the garage and gave it a couple of gentle whacks with a rubber mallet. I'm by no means an expert, but I would pay $1000 for it. $2500 will get you a new motor and everything cleaned up and updated. If it turns out well, it could be worth over $6000. Lots of variables to consider, though :)

CL77 Carb Cleaning

Does anyone know of an online tutorial on how to clean the carbs on a CL77, preferably with pictures? I've never done carb work before and looking for some help to guide me through the process.

How Fast do you ride your bike?

Hi guys, I'm a new Scrambler owner. I was just wondering, how fast do you normally drive your bike? The fastest I've ridden mine was about 60mph. I'm just curious to see how comfortable other riders are at higher speeds on these old bikes.
