The bike was on the road in 1966 and changed hands in 1967 to the guy I got the bike from. The title says it's a 1965. The numbers say it's a 1964. I find it odd the bike was taken apart and painted a factory colour when it was almost new. Have you heard of dealers painted bikes? Was there a shortag...

this bike was taken apart and painted around 1965/66, the ownship has the colour as black back then. If the bike was built in 1964 would it have been sold as a 65 model? thanks

The original title said 1965 and matches the motor. (?) Most of the vins start 1..... and this one starts at 4.... is this because it's a canadian model?

could someone reply to my bikes numbers? cb77e-402657 motor and cb77-402737 frame. Are they correct for a 1965 superhawk?

I have a 1965 superhawk. It has high handle bars and looks all original. The seat mounting tabs at the front have been repaired. Is this common? The bike is black but there is red under it.
