I have mine in the same state. Is the drum supposed to have some play or is it supposed to be unmovable and tight where it is? one other thing, I put the case back on yesterday and went around the block. shifted fine for a minute, then a no good, would not shift down to 1st. had to rev up 2nd to get it home.
