I just got my second machine up and semi running I guess you could say. New coil, points, rectifier, and condenser. Kicks over after 3-4 tries, then starts right up. No need for choke to be more then half closed. Before I even tried starting it, I changed the oil, made sure everything was timed righ...

I have what may be a stupid question...and being a noob to ignition elctronics. I have a similar coil like the one from JC Whitney, and came with wires. But they are stranded. I can get the solid core wires, thats no problem. But how do I insert them into the coil, when the only thing in there is a ...

Gasket material for cases
What do you guys use for gasket goop when putting the cases back together?  I have some stuff that Loctite makes we use at work all the time when putting things together.  Will that be good enough?
