She is 97% complete. The tach won't work, I need to stencil the lettering on the back of the saddle, and I need to clean up the wiring to the taillight just a little. I have not restored the air cleaner covers, and I may not. She has patina here and there, it speaks to her heritage and her originality. Like me!
I want to call Ed tomorrow and go over some things with him. She runs beautifully right now, and I mean that - she is smooth, she idles perfectly, and she revs up and idles down. I let her go going up a side street this afternoon, and my, is she sweet! I don't remember her being this smooth, and she probably never was.
Then, it's DMV time!
And time for a new chapter.
It's almost time to close this thread and start a new one. I never thought I'd say that!
