My new pistons arrived today, and I dropped them over to my mechanic mate who is going to get the engine re-bored and the crank tweeked, should be another week or so, then it is time to repaint the engine ready for assembly.

does anyone know of a good way of preparing the engine casings and barrel for painting.
I am thinking of using a small sand blaster to remove the paint, then a heat tollerant undercoat and heat tollerant finanl coat.
