Thanks, G. For the floats, I used a product called "Twinkle Brass & Copper Cleaner". It's a soft paste. I dampen the float, then gently, gently rub a small amount of the paste on them, then keep rubbing with my thumb and forefinger until each stain has disappeared. Afterward, I wash them thoroughly in warm soapy water and an old toothbrush. I'd say that it takes 15 - 20 minutes per float.

What did you use on the floats?
The solution I use cleans the brass parts but leaves them with a dark coating.
I have tried all sorts of stuff but I cannot get mine looking like yours.
The adhesive/sealer that Honda used is elusive. It seems resistant to almost anything. Would love to find some.
