Super Slow 65 CB77 Restoration commences
Master clip is out and head is off. Ended up using 2 precision pc screwdrivers. One through the top and one through the tensioner port. Clip came off and stuck to the screwdriver (guess it was magnetic). Same with the plate. Popped the link out and it and the chain slid to the bottom, tipped the engine and out the oil filter hole they came. Pistons are another story. Cylinders were filled with dirt/rust/and a bit of diesel the previous owner used to try and loosen it up. I soaked up the diesel, shop vac'd and picked out ost of the dirt, filled them back up with PB blaster. What can I use to gently remove the caked dirt from the cyl walls? Scotchbrite pad?
