I agree.
I prefer an older machine to look like it had a life but was well cared for, as opposed to factory fresh and never been used.

The second tank is correct for the bike. I've had good success using modern body-trim adhesive to mount the tank pads...............very similar to BSA and TRIUMPH glue-on pads from the factory. Nice catch on the 'tranny-protector'.

Finally got a few days of warm, dry and calm weather which allowed me to paint and clear the tanks. Won't be long and I'll be able to start. Stand by.....

I finally got the 305 completed. I made a couple of quick videos to show you guys. This is the third time I've started it. I recorded the initial start on my ipad but haven't figured out how to post it from there. Hope this works.
