This is a front fender that I bought for another project from Alan Curtis who is also restoring a 1961 CB72. I took a look at it today and see that it has just one rivet at the edge of the bracket just like the aluminium part I was looking for. I suppose that Honda kept the brackets the same when they moved to a steel fender but I wonder when the change to two rivets was made?

This is a nice Japanese '61 CB72 restoration with the 'single rivet' fender.

Wow. Ted's Special is spectacular.
I see all sorts of little differences between that early CB72 and a later CB77, like mine.
