yep, exactly what I did--good old JB Weld. Not a lot of pressure in that spot so should be okay according to LM.

Little more work done today, started on the frame---first time I have seen it for about a year, was all wrapped up while I acquired parts, etc.

ok everyone, does this look right? I think I have these lined up correctly. I am going off Sarals restoration project that she posted plus LM's responses.
