Blasted parts with glass beads, medium fine. That stator set-up looks nice! This engine will be going in a cafe' bike with a battery eliminator, and no electric start. Lets see some pics of your engine.

davo, I only see ONE thing wrong with that motor. And that ONE thing is................................
......it's Not In My Garage, Waiting To Go In MY Frame! Man, THAT is ONE FINE LOOKING MOTOR! And I'm jealous. Just kidding with ya, You've done a FANTASTIC job on that motor and I really am jealous. I can only hope mine turns out half as nice. Great Job!

Take care, Bill

Thanks Bill ! Now, if it runs as good as it looks, we'll really be in business. Unfortunately, it's not going in my bike either. This one is for my Buddy D.J., AKA deez on the forum. We did it together, whenever he could get over here on a Saturday. He wanted to learn how to rebuild one of these engines. He's a graphic designer for Old Navy, and has an incedible eye for detail. I too learned some things during this build, and we drank more than a few beers. In the intereim I did build a couple engines for myself, and they are installed and running well! I built him a beautiful set of wheels a couple weeks ago, polished hubs, Buchannon stainless spokes, and Excell shouldered aluminum rims, wm2 front, and wm3 rear. We started the mock-up last weekend, and will get back on it in a couple of weeks.
