I am soooo sorry for the delay. I wrecked my triumph and stopped everything to get it back into perfect condition. I even packed the Dream up to keep the dust off. I took my Triumph out for a spin this week end to make sure all is back to normal. I will need to clean up the fiberglass, etc out of my garage and unpack the Dream. I will have new pics posted soon.

Have you finished the Dream? Would you mind if me and another guy from Baylor (oh, no college students!!) came by one weekend to check it out?

Sorry for the long delay. Lots have happened, but I am back on track. I have all body work done, wiring, tires, brakes and cables. I have one really big issue now..... I do not have the knowledge to get the motor up and running. I do not know if it requires a rebuild, or some TLC. It turns over easily and compression is good. The carb was trashed, so there was no way to try and start it before I pulled it out.
I have search high and low in Dallas and could not find anyone willing to rebuild, or at least open it up and take a look. Does anyone out there rebuild motors? Any recomendations?
I am waiting for the motor to be ready before I put this thing back together.....

Have a leakdown done on the motor; that will tell you far more than a compression test will. How many miles are on the motor? I think anything over 20k will warrant a rebuild, unless motor is in excellent condition. Shift through all the gears and make sure everything feels right. I am at Baylor University, and I could probably help you getting running if you need the assistance when you're ready. Good luck.
