CA and CB parts

Post by conbs » Mon Jan 17, 2011 6:06 pm

1. I have a good CB carb body, but need all of the brass parts inside and the slide/spring/top cap. Maybe someone has a carb with a broken mounting flange or something.

2. The 2-wire harness that attaches to an early Dream coil. About 6" long.

Thanks for any help.

Which CB - 72 or 77 ?

Which carb - left or right?

I'll have a look in my parts.

CB carb

G-man, I have a left carb body so I just need all the brass insides, including the float and listed top parts which I thought were the same on both sides. CB77.

Thanks for looking.

Slide side

Post by conbs » Wed Jan 19, 2011 11:39 am

Thanks for the info Davo and Andy.

If I had only taken a minute to think, the slides would have to be left and right so the slot for the idle screw would be to the outside on both sides. When I ASSume...... Okay, in this case it was just me.

Top caps different, too? Is that to accomodate the cable fitting into the slide?

Top caps are different in that they angle the cables towards the frame.
