my wiring harness says 1967 and the frame ser# is CL77-105057 what year would this bike be ?and
why did they not have badges on the fork tree?

Don't the UK or Aussie bikes have some kind of badge up near the headlight? License tab or inspection tag of some kind?

I have pic somewhere, but maybe e3steve would know.

Not to my knowledge, guys. Just the customary stamped-in frame nº. Nothing else around the steering head.

This the kind of badge he was talking about? Looks like an official tag of some type. Or maybe for a gated neighborhood?

In the states: We don't need no stinkin' badges!! At least not yet anyway. Makes me wonder what kind of "carbon footprint" taxes these cool old bikes will be assessed in a few years.

Back to the original question. This red frame scrambler has the serial Number stamped in the fork tree where all the rest of my honda bikes do, but unlike the others there is not a metel embossed badge riveted to the tree. Is this typical of CL 77's?
