Cool project!

I'd love to know more about the 5 speed transmission. I didn't know anyone made a 5 speed transmission for the CB77?

After pricing out parts to restore one of the three others that I have, I decided it was cheaper to buy a nice one. This one is mostly all-original (engine refreshed, engine cases, fork tube covers ...

I had this left over part after having the right side case apart to replace the rollers and springs in the starter sprag clutch.

Is this part from this side of the engine, or did I mix something else up?

I'm no expert, but I believe the starter chain is oiled via slow-feed oiling at the right-side bearing of the crank which dribbles onto the starter clutch, and then to the chain. No periodic manual lubrication is needed.
