I noticed when reading the electronic coil replacement info that it stated the old point systems
were hard to get exact.
Solution: gap the right cylinder points exactly to .014 "
use .013 to slip and .015 to no go
use timing light set to read the right cylinder firing
rotate entire point ...

solution by going to K-mart and getting any 12 volt automotive coil. The author said you could purchase a decent coil for around $10 bucks , which kind of dates that manual.
