OK, Still no luck in getting this disassembled after 3/4 can of carb cleaner and 1/4 can of WD-40. Basically, I can freely slide the venturi up and down in the top cylinder. How do I remove carburator top from body?
I am trying to remove my CA77 carburator for a rebuild. I removed the air filter hose and unbolted the carb from the body and have slid off of the studs and dropped down the carb. Next, I unscrewed the top of the carb where the trottle cable enters. I though this would just pull right out, but it ...

I am just pulling out my machine for spring an found that a mouse crawled into my air filter pocket an made a nice winter nest, destroying my air filter in the process.
