Re: Help Needed! Dream petcock parts.....

Thanks for the info. "Problematic" is the right word, though I never had any problem with it when I was riding the bike daily. But I let it sit too long outside and.....
Found the petcock plate in Thailand, that's all that's needed. We'll see if this fixes it. Will fab a new mount to accept a more ...

Help Needed! Dream petcock parts.....

Anyone have an extra 'top of the pancake' disc with the compression spring which sits atop the stack of rubber discs? That's all I need to get my Dream back on the road. Ideally, it would be great to have two new rubber discs with the fuel holes also, but I can probably use the old ones if necessary ...

Re: 305 Pistons wanted (Std.)

Re: CA-77 kickstart issue after rebuild

Mystery solved. Was mixing and matching CL parts from a spare engine 'cause the CL clutch plates have twice the friction surface area as the CA plates. Used the CL inner hub also, and that's what caused the problem. It looks the same, but isn't.

Re: 305 crank rebuild service??

Just a note on the drive-side bearing. The bearing was very stiff, hard to turn and dirty, so I naturally assumed it needed replacing. However, because the bearing is hard to find and rather expensive I decided to try cleaning it. Surprise, surprise, after about 20 min. of flushing it with spray ...
