When I got mine, I had never worked on an engine before. Buy every manual you can find, and ask alot of questions on here. Before long, it will all start to make some sense, and you can have it running in no time. Good luck, and don't get discouraged.

Were those CA77 mufflers I saw hanging there? I could use some originals, as the previous owner put shortys on my dream. What kind of prices was he charging? I'm from Eaton, OH and my parents still live there- just wondering if I should pay them a visit.

KD, Somewhere you have the brake light wire touching a ground, although I have seen a faulty bulb short the filiment to ground inside the bulb,but that is real rare. Check your wiring from the brake light switch to the bulb you should find it,Good Luck. Kustommusic

Could someone help me narrow down the year of this engine number? CA77E-IO351618

Recently replaced the tail light bulb and assembly. Now when I hit the rear break, it blows the main fuse. Do you think I have the wires crossed, or is it not grounded properly?
