That is the way I installed the carb slide, although thanks for the info so I know it's correct.
Next I'm gonna take apart the throttle at the grip as I had dissasmbled it a few times inpsecting the starter button and when the carb was removed and then re-installed it may need to be rechecked or ...

So did you custom tool the base or is this a part I could find and modify from a hardware store/motorcycle supply place? This looks like a great replacement solution which I need badly. Any help on how I may achieve the same results would be appreciated.
