Q. What is this survey for?

A.
h305: VJ Survey FAQ

Information. The more we have of it, the better insight we have into our hobby. This survey will improve our understanding of many topics, such as: which model year is the rarest and how much are these bikes really worth?

Q. Why should I fill out this survey; what's in it for me?

A.

Your information will add to our collective body of knowledge ...and to your own. The Registry Statistics are viewable in real time.

Q. I am concerned about privacy. Can I skip some of the survey questions?

A. You can skip any question, (except Email Address, and the Frame and Motor Numbers). If you are not comfortable entering your serial numbers, please substitute the last two digits by "99." This way a hypothetical "CB77-123456" serial number becomes an anonymous "CB77-123499."

Q. In what format should I enter the Frame Number and/or the Motor Number?

A. The relevant survey questions will include the correct prefix (like CB77, CA72, CL77, etc.) for your model. You just need to supply the digits.

Q. Where and when can I see the survey results?

A. There are several ways in which you can receive the survey results:
  • Once you fill out the Survey and click on the "Submit" button, a confirmation page will appear with a link to the Registry Statistics.
  • eMail Updates - Select the "Receive eMail Updates" when filling out the survey and I will send you survey results, from time to time.
  • VJMC Newsletter - Some survey results will appear in the "Department of Statistics" column, when possible.

Q. I sold my bike, but still have the serial numbers and other information. Should I enter it into the survey?

A. Yes! You can enter any bike, whether you own it now or not. The more bikes are included in the survey the more meaningful the statistics will be.

Q. I can't get the darn thing (survey page) to work. Can I just send you the bike info so you can add it to the survey yourself?

A. Yes, but please be sure to include, at the very least, the minimum required details:
  • Year
  • Model
  • Frame Number
  • Motor Number
  • Your Name
  • Your eMail address

The more additional information you send, the more meaningful the statistics become, once the data are analyzed.

Please email the information to: survey@honda305.com
