to jlovvorn,

here are the filters I am currently running on the bike. they fit great, and since they are made almost entirely of rubber and foam it plays nice with the petcock so close.

i have noticed smoother acceleration and less power loss when being hit by sidewinds. but, i have also changed out my mufflers back to the 24" cb350 ones after struggling to make the centerstand stop at the appropriate place without modifying the frame. so that could be influencing the performance as well.

however... these filters kinda bunch up against the side covers a bit (about .75 of an inch) since they are kinda long. and they *just* touch the bottom of the tank when installed.

so i am running the bike without the sidecovers for now, and am toying with the idea of making a custom toolkit holder doors so i can still have tools on my bike at all times without a backpack.

more pics and restoration shenanigans to come soon.
