Did you mean CB350 circa 1973? As no CB72s 1973 were made to my knowledge at least and I'm not the 'sharpest" knife in the drawer. Others?

you have confused me now , i have a twin leading shoe front brake from a cb 72 year would be pre 1968 as i bought it in june 1968 second hand to fit into a pair of Norton forks on a Tribsa i built i now need the brake overhauling but can no longer find the parts so am looking for a complete brake looking at photos of the brake it would appear to be different ,the speedo drive on mine is on the left with the brake on the right

I'm not positive, but I believe both the CB/CLs had a seperate brake drive on the outside of the right side of the front wheel. Perhaps Loud Mouse can verify? CB350s had the drive on the left side of the brake housing I believe. Someone just mentioned this recently. Brake shoes shoud be still available.
