You have the first issue (or cheap copies) that used the black rubber sort of sock.
HONDA changed to the type you have and modified the front of the muffler to use it. The type seal was changed because with age/heat and RPM's the seal would be blown out of the muffler and up the pipe. The seals you need are 18391-254-000. ...................lm

Peter, there is another type of rubber connecter that is black and shaped sort of like a hollowed out mushroom. There are several for sale on e-bay. Sorry I don't know how to provide a picture, just look for CA77 parts or Honda Dream parts. Mike

Hmmm Thank you all !! That gets me out of the dark a bit . You see I have never seen mufflers like these before . My old Rusted ones had the Collar . I had a look in the Manual but it's a bit hard to tell with the detail or lack of it.... I will have a look on the net with that part number & see if there's a pic to give me more of an Idea of what I'm looking for . Thank you all for your Help . There's not very many Honda Dreams down here so there's not to many people to ask . / Peter

Hey Peter, Rob's on your continent -- wombat200 -- and a really knowledgable chap. Know's the history of these bikes better than anyone I've ever come across, the only exceptions being Ed Moore (LOUD MOUSE) or Bill Silver.
